My Very First Knitted Piece – And Why It Still Matters to Me

I still remember it vividly: my very first knitted piece was... well… far from pretty. 😅
A kind of scarf – crooked, full of holes, and definitely full of "character". But you know what? I loved it.
Back then, I didn't know anything about swatches, edge stitches, or right vs. wrong sides. But I was all in. I sat there for hours, focused, proud of every row – and sometimes frustrated when everything had to be unraveled.
Still, that first piece was more than a learning project. It was my entryway into a new world – a world of creativity, patience, and joy in making.
Today – years later – I still treasure that scarf. Not because it's perfect, but because it's part of my story.
